Design Experience

Mary K. Mitsinikos is an accomplished designer with more than fourteen years of experience in healthcare, commercial and residential architecture.  After working with notable architecture firms in New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts, Mary has effectively assembled a multi-discipline architecture firm integrating healthcare, commercial and residential design into the practice.

Several years ago, using her own home as a “think tank,” she began exploring the many issues in residential design today. Her projects investigate concepts in spatial design and layout for our modern lifestyles as well as combining natural and artificial light into the design to further enhance the layout.  Her explorations investigate innovative ideas with traditional and present-day materials and finishes and place emphasis on the functionality and aesthetic of custom cabinetry and fine detailing throughout the home. Her style is fresh and contemporary, filled with clean lines and bright spaces.

Throughout her career, Mary has led and participated in the planning and design of a broad spectrum of health care projects, continually addressing the ever changing needs of health care providers and the health care seekers.  Her responsibilities have included design, master planning, space programming, construction documentation and project management.  She has a clear understanding of the complexity inherent in large organizations on multi-building campuses, gained through years of experience both as a consultant and as an architectural planner for a large, medical university.

Mary is a licensed architect in both New Jersey and Massachusetts.
